This is about the booze cruise which wasn't a cruise

Jambo Jambo

Hope, you're good :-)

I'm good. Survived the weekend although I wasn't too sure about it ;-)

It all started on Saturday which is party day but this Saturday was different because it was the birthday of famous Ali Ndogo. We were excited because his birthday means booze cruise and booze cruise means fun and fun is good :-).

So, we were on time, the wazungus at least, waiting at the beach at Cholo's the cruise was supposed to start at 4 p.m., African time of course. It started at 5 p.m. or better we thought it would start when we got on the boat at 5 p.m. But there was a problem or better the captain had one. So we stayed on the boat in front of Cholo's and were looking at the beach while the time passed. An hour later we were still there already a little bit drunk but still waiting to go. A few attempts were made to leave but none of them was successful because there was something wrong with the generator and therefore there was no music and that was a big problem because birthday booze cruise without music, not working. So, we waited and waited. At around 7 p.m. we finally left and went on the shortest booze cruise in the history of booze cruises it took about 30 min and we were back at Cholo's. At least we spent some time at the boat and had booze ;-)

After the cruise we went to the beach party at Kendwa. And there it was habatoshi..yes. Loooootsss of fishermen made my life a bit more interesting and my running skills got better and better. Some of them I could scare off but some of them will still be there next Saturday and I'm really looking forward to it ;-)

Hm, that's it. There are more news but they have to wait. So, be patient as the Africans say and stay tuned, that's what I say ;-)
